Infant Room
Infant care has to do more than look right – it has to feel right. You want to know your child is safe and well cared for. Our infant program is designed to offer a secure place with knowledgeable teachers who honor your family's routine, and who know every day that they're not caring for any child, but the most important child – yours.

INFANT CARE PRACTICES

Our research-based program and welcoming environments have been carefully designed by our educators to support all of your baby's exciting developmental milestones. Program highlights include:
-Sign Language: Teaching basic signs so infants learn to communicate their needs.
-Daily Reading: Age-appropriate books to support listening, vocabulary, and a love of reading extending to language activities
Art Activities: Finger painting, music, and pretend play to spark creativity
-Touch and Feel: provide a variety of natural and everyday objects that are rich in possibilities, texture, color, or shine – brushes, spoons, and safe outdoor materials, for example – for your baby to investigate
-Outdoor Discovery: Time outside to explore nature and inspire motor and sensory development in a new environment

AGE APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM

Our best-in-class curriculum includes our signature practices which encourage exploration and discovery to stimulate early learning:
-Our infant room holds up to 10 infants with a higher ratio of caregiver to infant (1:4 or 1:3) than is mandated by the state
-Your child has an assigned primary caregiver for one-to-one moments of caring, play, and communication. A baby develops trust as her primary caregiver learns to respond appropriately to her unique needs and thrives.
-All our caregivers are trained in infant care, health and safety practices, and early education.
-Our safety, security, and cleanliness practices exceed all state, local, and National Association for the Education of Young children (NAEYC) guidelines.
